«Forever» is not just a house, but an architectural work of art that blends harmoniously with the natural landscape and fulfils all the needs of the modern resident. The house was designed by the talented Finnish architect Seppo Mäntyla, who thoroughly studied all the features of the landscape, the cardinal directions and the views from the windows to give the residents a feeling of unity with nature. By the way, the architect was chosen by the client among seven works in our architectural competition. Unique materials such as eco-brick and noble wood have been used in the construction, giving the house longevity and environmental friendliness. The facade of the first floor, planned from timber, will add even more warmth and harmony.
The house is located on a magnificent plot of 80 hectares, which provides ample space for comfortable living. The narrow and elongated plot overlooking the river, especially fascinating in spring and autumn, creates a feeling of privacy and peace. Particular attention has been paid to the orientation of the house: despite the fact that the house is located to the north, it reveals stunning views of the river from the south-west side. The terrace located there becomes the ideal place to enjoy sunsets and water views.
The architectural shape of the house in the form of a "U" creates a cosy atrium and allows the sunlight to penetrate inside, illuminating all the rooms with soft light. It is a two-storey residence with a well thought-out layout. The ground floor comprises the kitchen, dining room and lounge room that are united to create a single space and designed to be bright and private simultaneously. On the opposite side there is a luxurious spa area with swimming pool. The bedrooms on the first floor are orientated to the north, favouring a restful sleep while protecting from the morning light. The south-west terrace is easily accessible from the kitchen, making dinners even more convenient and enjoyable. The house also includes a staff flat on the ground floor with a vestibule providing natural light. A car turning area makes it easy to pull in and out without having to back up, adding extra comfort.
